ARIS Hide section feature for EPC Model

Can ARIS connect have Hide section feature available

Pain point:

�Multi-function clients/customer require different amounts of detail at different parts of the workflow

�Workflows are very long once they include the detail all users want

�Long workflows are intimidating to first-time users

�Live discussions of workflow need start simple, then get complex

�Much like playing a boardgame, most folks prefer to skim the rules and intuit how to play before thoroughly reading through the details of rulebook once they are hooked

Current solution:

�Multiple �nested� EPCs

�Need to navigate multiple models and backtrack if you start with a simple flow

Proposed solution:

��Hide Section� feature to collapse some workflow objects and hide from view.

�Stay in single model for full conversation; collapse elements to simplify flow and expand as necessary

Select �Hide Section� tool and highlight section of worksheet you wish to collapse (similar mechanic to �Vertical Space� tool)

Toggle & line indicate hidden section of flow between �Resource is sold� and �OR� nodes
