Identifier Attribute Behavior: Request setting that causes Identifier values to be copied upon defintion or variant copy

ARIS presently has two modes with regards to the Identifier attribute - upon definition or variant copy, automatically generating new values or nulling the value. Request is to provide a third administrative option - to copy the value as-is. We understand the original intent of the current behavior, but since GUID values are available and always unique, we do not need the "Identifier" to serve as a globally-unique value. Rather the Identifer is used as a governance-defined persistent value across versions. If some customers use it as a globally-unique value, they could continue to use that option currently provided, but we wish to have this additional options to accomodate our usage patterns.
