When the same object is used in two different models, there are sometimes differentiating characteristics in the context of the respective model. E.g. a Function (Task) in one BPMN model may have different performance requirements than in another. I realize there are workarounds, but ideally an additional property panel would be added to the property editor (in addition to Assignments, Attributes, etc) called something like "Occurrence Properties" which would function like the Attributes panel, but allow the association of properties at the occurrence level vs object. Extra-ideally, occurrences could function more like first-class objects in general - be eligible for placement on matrices and a searchable metatype in the Find feature.
