In BPMN2 notation the subprocess objects have the feature to expand and collapse so show the subprocess model in the parent model when expanded. However, if a subprocess object is expanded and then collapsed, the parent model is not resized to the original spacing prior the expansion. This causes additional work to reorganise the model when supprocesses are collapsed.

Fundamentally, collapse and expand should be a feature on both Repository and Portal views of a model and that when an expanded subprocess is subsequently collapsed, the spacing between that object and other objects should be returned to appropriate intervals
