Make (EPC) Column/Row layout models configurable

Column layout models are a powerful tool that is used too little, because the methodical support is very improvable.
The EPCs in Table, Column or Row layout only offer a limited set of connection types that are offered as Columns/Rows respectively. These model types should be configurable freely. So it should be possible to define:
  • An available column type and the associated connection that is implicitly generated for definable symbols placed in it to any structure building object(s) in the main column. Configurable language dependent column captions.
  • Likewise customizations in the method filter should be available to restrict such model types to a subset of the available columns and define the allowed symbols per column and connection types to be generated per symbol type!
  • User defined model types (not derived) should be definable in row/column layout, so not just processes, but other applications become possible in this layout.
  • In Templates it should be definable, which columns/rows to show upon model creation of each model type in column/row layout, when the template is used as default template for new models
  • The script API (both report and macro) should give complete access to the manipulation of such models, their columns, connection types implicitly generated per column and symbol type on placement of occurrences, and to the new filter and template features.
