Few customers already asked us about the possibility of a dropdown in the hierarchy bar. Like you see on a regular webpage. This can reduce the amount of hierarchy tabs and/or create possibility to group certains tabs.
Customer(s) are requesting this to have one entrance to process framework even if they have multiple business units with their own framework (kind of global -> local, master - variant).
It is not possible to create hierarchies with same model types like described in example above, which also leads to issues with breadcrumb path.
