Need for Action: If we want to integrate e.g. an application lane (same for Role Lane) from our master data into an existing pool, this is only possible in a very complicated way by pasting the Lane outside the pool, than mark pool and lane and than we can integrate the lane via the function “Insert Lane”.
Solution concept: we would like to have a possibility to integrate our master data lane roles via copy and paste directly into the pool| Brainstorm ID | 8235 |

Thank you for sharing your idea. What about the following approach:
1. Select the pool.
2. Right click on the pool and click on Add lane > Application system type lane
3. Click on the lane's name and start typing. You will get suggestions based on the available application system types.

The lanes are used in our company to represent roles. That's the reason why we offer our users standard lanes in a catalog. Adding further lanes via. copy&past ... or even better ... drag and drop would be really very helpful. The current procedure is quite painful from the point of view of our users.
