Variant relationship between EPC and BPMN models

it must be possible to create variant relationships not only between BPMN&BPMN or EPC&EPC but for several reasons also BPMN&EPC should be named variants.

UseCases:

1. There is a new online shop and the process variants for the shop I will define as BPMN for easy automation so I need a BPMN variant from my EPC...

2. Mining a EPC model and creating variants out of APM (Mining to model) then only BPMN will be created but the new process model is reflecting a variant of the model in ARIS - so a relationship should be creatable.

I think many other reason can be imagined...
