It would be useful to have the possibility to display a "frame" in ARIS designer to support designers to better use the area in the diagram. If all content within the frame is shown in one screen in ARIS Connect (based on 100%), users would not have to scroll as much in published diagrams and it would be easier to have a good overview of all content.
I suggest to use the same type of functionality as "Grid" under the Start menu. Designers would then be able to decide whether they want to show the frame or not.
Hi Johan,
thank you for clarifying. We will take your idea into consideration for future planning.

Hi Philip,
Thank you for reviewing the idea.
A frame (based on 100% sizing in ARIS Connect) would support the designer in positioning the content better. It is common to open models in ARIS Connect only to see large blank spots and having to scroll in different directions to view the content. If the designer has a "frame" or some kind of guiding "boundaries", it would guide him/her to better position the content and offer the user a better experience. Hope that helps!

Hi Johan,
thank you for sharing your idea. Did I understand it correctly that you would like to have guidance during design time? The user should then be able to view the published diagram without extensive scrolling?

Philip
