Virtual object labels

When objects appear in lists, the label of the object is the name of the object. However, users often want another attribute to be visible and often want the objects to sort by that other attribute, so it is common for them to concatenate what either are or should be other attributes into the name itself (e.g. using an ID as a prefix or some category). This works for display but is not correct from an information model perspective and often requires manual maintenance to keep the prefix in sync with the actual attribute. The proposed feature is to add the idea of a display label as a "virtual" attribute that is defined based on some combination of other attributes. Often this would be the name, but it could be something else or the concatenation of multiple attributes. The contents would never be directly maintained as this would simply be a rendered display of values elsewhere in the object.
