Ability to operate with model while adding/editing attribute data

When working with models and adding/editing data in to attributes that has [text] type values, model gets "locked".
If user clicks to add data in to attribute, pop-up window for editing attributed data is prompted and model is left inactive in the background.
An edit window opens covering most of the model, and the can't be moved nor minimized.
Often user needs to see different parts of the model while editing for example a description attribute for a model or an object, so this is giving bad user experience.

Suggestion: allow to edit attributes in properties panel also, not only in separate pop-up window.
