As a user I would like to get a warning if my web session is about to expire. And also a message or routing to the login screen if it has actually expired.
Some forms or questionnaires may take long to respond to and if not submitted within the session timeout the work is lost. Also if session expires in the viewer client you can't click anything but there is no indication that it is because of an expired session.
