ADS should be able to return mimetype information about documents via API

Knowledge of the mime type of a physical document is particularly important for machine processing. Therefore, the ADS should store the mime type for each physical document. With the help of API functionalities, it should be possible to read this mime type information from ADS.

Insbesondere bei maschineller Verarbeitung ist die Kenntnis des Mimetypes zu einem physikalischen Dokument von essenzieller Bedeutung. Deshalb sollte das ADS je physikalischen Dokument den Mimetype mit ablegen. Mit Hilfe von API-Funktionalitäten sollen diese Mimetype-Informationen aus ADS ausgelesen werden können.
