To maintain various responsibilities, we need a user data type for attribute types analogous to the existing "Responsible" attribute. It should be possible to select people from the UMC via "User Chooser". Multiple choices should be possible. User groups should also be selectable as an option.

as described. Since SR26 there is an option to chose users and user groups. So far there are no plans to introduce a multi-select for individual users.

Urg, now you are opening a gap between method configuration (Architect) and content type configuration in Connect Portal.
The Responsible attribute type AT_PERS_RESP is seen in method config only as datatype single line text. There is no "datatype" user chooser, although it would greatly help to avoid faulty entries by download client users.
As a consequence I would like to have a consistent user chooser througout all client types.

indeed there is the option to add the user chooser to other attributes. Still, a group chooser and a group-or-user chooser is missing. We are planning to release these additional options with SR26.
The other option that Stephan mentions would require a multi select behavior which is only planned for text-based values.

I just found out that there is already a way to apply the user chooser to other attributes. This can be done in the content type config.

Hi Susanne, we are planning to release a group chooser attribute. Most likely in SR26. Could you elaborate on the requirement for choosing multiple individual users?
