Document update via ARIS should offer the option head revision or fixed revision as a link entry

ADS documents are referenced with the help of link entries in attributes. Basically there are two use cases: 1) I as a user would like to have the head revision of the document in the link (In the link ...revision = -1) or 2) I as a user would like to store a specific revision of the document (in the link ...revision = x, x>0).

The design of the user dialog should be designed in such a way that the user can clearly see which of the two use cases is currently being used.

As a user, I would like to be able to choose whether I want to save the latest version of the document or the fixed version x.

Background: Typical working methods of users via ARIS:

a) Selects the artifact in ARIS (model or object) for which a document is to be stored

There are now two cases to consider:

Case 1: The desired document or the desired document version already exists in the ADS, then selection from the ADS via dialog the head revision or the fixed version of the desired document

Case 2: The desired document or the desired document version does not yet exist in the ADS, then either upload a new document or upload a new document version, and after that select from the ADS via the dialog the head revision or the fixed version of the desired document

ADS-Dokumente werden mit Hilfe von Link-Einträgen in Attributen referenziert. Hier gibt es jetzt zwei Fälle zu betrachten:

Fall 1: Das gewünschte Dokument oder die gewünschte Dokumentenversion gibt es bereits im ADS, dann Auswahl aus dem ADS via Dialog der Headrevision oder der fixen Version des gewünschten Dokumentes

Fall 2: Das gewünschte Dokument oder die gewünschte Dokumentenversion gibt es noch nicht im ADS, dann entweder neues Dokument hochladen oder neue Dokumentenversion hochladen, anschließend Auswahl aus dem ADS via Dialog der Headrevision oder der fixen Version des gewünschten Dokumentes
