Historical backlog view

A historical backlog view is a retrospective analysis of a backlog (a collection of processes) to understand how they have evolved over time.

That is, an analysis of how many processes have been added or completed for each day and the calculation of a corresponding delta.

Subsequently, an analysis can be made of how many processes are or were still open on any given day. This makes it possible to check whether more processes are accumulating or being processed over time, and whether the backlog is increasing or decreasing accordingly.

Example:

Benefits:

It can help identify trends, improve prioritization of processes, and make it easier to plan future resource allocation.
