Sometimes it happens that (the less experienced) modellers are editing models and objects, being unaware that the objects that they are editing have occurrences on other models too. As a result the content of these other models are changed unintentionally as well. It would help these modellers if they are notified when they want to change the (properties of the) object if it has occurrences on other models, asking if they are sure they really want to edit that object.
When you are deleting objects you will be informed if those objects are used on models, so you cannot delete objects that are used on other models than your own by accident. It would be nice if some sort of warning would pop-up when you edit an object that have occurrences on other models too.
In addition it would be nice if the modeller has the option for not showing those warnings anymore, so more experienced modellers aren't always notified as well.
