Need to have scheduled tenant backup facility, because of:• Increasing importance from Global Standards and regulators for the process content stored in ARIS.
• Able to quickly fall back on a backup and carry out recovery actions in the event of an emergency. With the current working method (performed by SAG in Cloud) this appears not to be possible.
Therefore we want to have:
a) Daily scheduled tenant backup of the PROD environments
b) A tenant backup is kept for 30 days.
c) After 30 days, a tenant backup is stored per month (month-end) for a period of 7 years.
d) The tenant backup is stored on a local folder within the customer environment. Underlying reason: Should the Cloud environment, for whatever reason, fail, then the tenant backup stored locally (at the customer's site) can be used.
e) There should be an automated report when the execution of a tenant backup has not gone well. g. report to the customer ARIS team.
