Please make the search default to the published repository that is user viewing and then in filter option he could chose to seach in all, rather than having default setting to search all repositories and then make user to chose the relevant one.
My guess is that most ARIS customers have a "go-to" production database for released content and a development database for content that is not yet finalized but is still relevant to share for review and communication etc. Currently, it is a bit confusing to our users that they are by default presented with all results from different databases, and not only the results of the database that they are already in.
We would like to centrally preselect our production/default database. Users may actively select another database if needed. Discussed this with ARIS consultant Solita that heard this comment from several customers.
Allowing the use of different primary colors for databases would also be very helpful in guiding users. Example: We would like the primary color in our Production database to be "Ericsson blue", and the primary color in our Development database to be red. Much more clear to users which database they are in.
We would also like to have the new search filter by the active DB by default and then let the user opt to search all databases instead of it being the other way around. Especially when using multiple DBs for publication of contents we have many DBs with similar contents, so it would be easier understandable for our end users and it would also save some clicks on every search, as they have to click the DB-Filter every time they use the search right now.
Maybe there could be standard filters customizable in the SSC? As in, we can supply our users with premade default filters we set up in the SSC, so they dont get overwhelmed when they are new to ARIS Connect and/or the new search?
The search returns many results nad it is hard to navigate through it. As well it does not take into consideration the order of published databases and it is hard to find what you are looking for.
Make at least the filter side panel always visible so it can be easily switched to desired repository or an option for user to have it visible or not by default.
As well the filter by item type in previous search was prioritised so you could have most used items on top. In new it's all alphabetical and you have to either scroll down for transaction or type it into search field.
Just to understand your idea a little bit better: If a user has access to the contents in several published databases, why is it not wanted that he/she/it takes a decision and chooses the content that seems most relevant?
New Search in SR22 - Seach in active DB by default
Merged
The new search should be set by default to active process repository that user is in, and if desired the user can change to search all repositories that the user has access to.
Planned for SR27.

Thank you for your feedback and idea.
