Enhancing ARIS Connect Object Selection with Attribute Display for Occurrence Copy

When modeling objects in the Connect Designer, suggestions for occurrence copies are displayed when object names are entered. Unlike ARIS Architect, only the name is displayed in a drop-down list. In addition, the path where the object definition is stored can be displayed via mouse-over.No other attributes such as description, creator and identifier are displayed. These are essential for selecting the correct object in order to create a occurrence copy in the model. As soon as two objects with the same name and different attribute values are present in the database, it is not possible to make a clear selection. This forces the modeler to create a new object in the database, which must later be consolidated by an architect user. Our idea is that in the ARIS Connect environment, the attributes of the objects with the same name are displayed for the proposed objects with the same name.

Thank you for this idea. We are experiencing the same issue and it is causing confusion amongst our users and redundant objects to be created. This functionality would greatly help our user community and administrators that need to maintain/consolidate these redundant objects. Please keep us posted on the status of this idea. Thanks!
