Add steps detail as side panel to diagram view

The side panel in steps view shows a summarized set of structured information, including previews, links to videos and others.

Differently from the mini fact sheets, the side panel always appears at the same position and also is bigger than the pop-up mini fact sheet and therefore may be easier to consume.

I would like to suggest the possibility to include a configurable toolbar icon to show the steps side panel in the diagram view, see attached picture
