Data processing in tables

For easier way to work with data, it would be good to be able to store data in tables. The tables should be able to be read and written with SQL commands in reports, and the data should also be able to be used in dashboards. For data exchange, the data should also be able to be read and written with API from outside ARIS.

ADS with xml files has a similar functionality, but is not suitable for large amounts of data and is more complex to process with reports.

Useful for:

- Data exchange with other systems

- Prepared data for various reports

- Data source for dashboards

    Hi Philip,

Sorry for the delay in my reply.

An example that would be helpful for us: Person Data comes from different systems (personal data from SAP HCM, organisational affiliation from Org. Management, assigned business roles from the central authorisation system, system responsibilities from SeriveNow) and only a small part of this information is stored in objects in Aris. The various personal information is used in over 20 reports for evaluation. The processing of personal data from the various sources is inefficient. However, the personal data is stable over a day or even a week and could be made available completely prepared in a table and the various reports can access it with a key.

    Hi André,

thank you for sharing your idea. Some questions for clarification. You would like to have a central independent database which can be accessed/modified in reports, dashboards and via REST API? If that's the case, could you explain for what use case you would require such a database?

    Thanks,
    Philip
